Volcanoes set promotions

The Volcanoes' 10th Anniversary Season in 2006 will present the biggest lineup of promotions ever for the team. New this year will be Fireworks Fridays. Every Friday Night home game will feature a spectacular post-game Fireworks Show. There will also be fireworks on the 4th of July -- making a total of six fireworks shows during the season. Also new this year will be Wacky Wednesdays. This night will feature an entertainment act for every Wednesday night home game, including the return of The Famous San Diego Chicken scheduled for Wednesday, July 26. Bingo Sundays will premier this season as Baseball Bingo will become a regular feature for every Sunday home game, seven times during the year this popular game will be offered free to fans on Sunday home games. "By far, this is our most comprehensive slate of promotions," said team co-owner, Jerry Walker. "We want our 10th Anniversary Season to be our biggest and best ever and we have the promotional lineup that does exactly that," concluded Walker.

The 5 Game Plan: Opening Night (June 24), Roberto the Magnificent and Free Baseball Giveaway (July 12), Baseball Bingo and Turn Back the Clock Day (July 23), Fireworks Night (August 4) and The Spitball Gang (August 23).

The 10 Game Plan: Featuring 3 Fireworks Night & The Famous San Diego Chicken !!! Opening Night (June 24), The Spitball Gang (June 28), Award Winning Frisbee Dogs (July 5), Fireworks (July 14), Baseball Bingo (July 16), The Famous Chicken (July 26), Crater's Birthday Party (August 5), Fireworks (August 11), Hometown Heroes and Team Photo Giveaway (August 27), Fireworks and Baseball Card Set Giveaway (September 1).

Ticket packages are now on sale at the Volcanoes Ticket Office. 5 game plans are $40 and 10 game plans are $80.
